A Pair Of New Full Lume Silver Texalium Prototype Dials

I really enjoy working with silver texalium as it has a surface weave pattern that is probably nicer than any other composite material. The greatest drawback of this material is that it is basically translucent and requires multiple extra steps for a proper lume application. So instead of spending my time wrestling with the unique characteristic of this material I decided to take advantage of its translucency to make a full lume, or more appropriately a "Ghost Lume" dial. The process needs a bit of refinement and the larger dial is clearly the brighter of the pair. I also love the way the blue lume is ghosted around the indexes. These dials will find their way into a 45mm titanium case with handwind movement and a monster 55mm case with quartz movement very soon. Look for them in my upcoming weeks eBay listings!
